The network is represented within Social Care Association's committee structure on the membership sub committee by Simon Labbett (simon.labbett@bradford.gov.uk). RWCN have been in existence since 2005 and meet approximately three times a year. RWCN aim to have representation from all regional Rehabiltation Support Groups across the country.
RWCN links with SCA committee structures to raise issues relating to the profession and providing a vital link between SCA and its rehabilitation members including discussions with the Chief Executive, Nick Johnson relating to negotiations with Association for the Education & Rehabilitation of the Blind & Visually Impaired (AERBVI). RWCN have a pivotal role in planning annual rehabilitation seminars alongside SCA Education.
