The social care Good Practice Framework

All social care staff and managers are being urged to visit a helpful and innovative website. It provides an easy way to share practice examples which have been reviewed by the Social Care Institute for Excellence.

The Marmot Review released earlier this year highlighted that social factors cause health inequalities, but made little reference to social care. SCIE has looked examined the issue and now produced findings.

Dementia Gateway – new content

The Dementia Gateway, created by SCIE in conjunction with the Alzheimer’s Society, helps carers to understand dementia and the challenges they may face when looking after people who have the condition.
