- To promote the education of the public in matters of social policy, social organisation and social problems.
- SCA (Education) is committed to the delivery of quality social care services and the provision of quality development and training to ensure these aims are achieved.
All SCA (Education) trainers and consultants are experienced social care managers and practitioners. The independence of SCA (Education) is combined with a track record of a practice approach and the benefits of the innovative policy and practice work of SCA. SCA (Education) trainers and consultants offer experience and credibility within a framework of agreement, regular review and evaluation. Feedback on training is used specifically to improve programme content and structure.
SCA (Education) training events are responsive to change, helping organisations and individuals to keep up-to-date. They also provide a forum where front-line practitioners, managers, policy makers and commissioners can engage with each other to share information, experience and good practice.
